Pantnagar Technology Alumni Association was formed in 2005 with the unstinted efforts and foresight of stalwarts that are the Ex Vice-Chancellor Dr. P.L. Gautam, Ex-dean and Late Dr. K. N. Shukla and the enthusiastic alumni of College of Technology. . Since inception the association has come a long way and is continuously involving more and more alumni from different parts of the world. It is dedicated to promote and foster interaction amongst the alumni, faculty and present students in order to take the college to higher levels of excellence. P.T.A.A. ensures to stimulate the continued interest of all graduated and former students, act as an informal advisory board to the campus, and provide a means whereby alumni may join together for the improvement of the college campus and University in its entirety. The motive is to create a channel ensuring development of students by providing necessary resources, guidance, motivations and financial help in area of interest. Its main objectives are to communicate with the alumni for the development of college, to mediate with the alumni and maintain information on their professional achievements and activities. It organizes Samanvay for a close interaction between the alumni and their alma mater for mutual betterment and welfare activities . It not only assist an effective & faster communication among the alumni members but also provide an opportunity to better "Learn, Leap and Lead" throughout their life. It looks after the welfare of the students and the alumni. Timely seminar and discussions are being conducted so as to strengthen the bond between the alumni and the students. The annual general meeting of P.T.A.A., which is an integral part of SAMANVAY (the Annual Alumni Meet organized by the Alumni Cell), gives the alumni an opportunity to bring their concerns to the fore and suggest measures to bring about the desired change. Carrying on with the tradition, the students put in their best of efforts to maintain the interaction. The association continues in its path towards achieving the goals set during inception and solicits the co-operation of all its members in the form of active participation and suggestions for improvements and means of augmenting the resources to sustain its activities.
